The context of my post was that the Coyotes have very little talent despite then missing the playoffs all but once in a decade.

I mention this because missing the playoffs gives you better odds of getting said talent.

The Canadiens factually made the playoffs during the span you refer to and ended up with picks 16 and 31. The year before, they had the 15th pick. During the span I'm referring to, they made the playoffs 6 times. What are you debating here lmao.
