Sharks are also flying back from Arizona, where they played last night. Not ideal circumstances for either team really.

should be some fatigue although based solely on the score, doesn`t appear like they had to push themselves too hard for the win

SAN JOSE, Calif. — David Pastrnak spent the weeklong break on the beach at a Jamaican resort. Tuukka Rask, Dominic Moore, and Kevan Miller, who grew up around Los Angeles, spent their time off here in the Golden State. Coach Bruce Cassidy took his wife and three kids to Orlando. Team captain Zdeno Chara stayed home, relaxed, and worked out (of course). Patrice Bergeron went home to Quebec City.

“For the warmth,†kidded Bergeron. “I think it was minus-20 my last day there.â€

The Bruins, their scoring hands hot before they went on mid-semester break following last Sunday’s 4-0 win over Montreal, return to work here Sunday night against the Sharks. The Bruins, riding a three-game winning streak, have 24 games to go in the regular season and still cling, somewhat perilously, to one of the eight postseason berths in the Eastern Conference.

“Generally you’re going to be rusty, and it’s usually your hands,†said Cassidy, following a remarkably up-tempo 50-minute workout here at Solar4America Arena, the Sharks’ practice facility. “So puck management will be key. You hope to be able to defend fine, you should have the energy to do that well — you won’t forget that part of it. But your hands might leave you a little bit. You’ll be a little rusty, get behind the play and then make some mistakes with the puck. So we’ll have to guard against that.â€

The break could not have come at a worse time with them finally finding some mo jo and building momentum. Hope they are as motivated as they can be. Treat like a play off game. Sprays of WD40 for all before they leave the dressing room tonight.

Hey, the break didn't seem to bother the Habs....yesterday they picked up right where they left off prior to the bye week.

Cant friggen wait till game time. Such a long week for me and no Bruins after getting teased with 3 great games and new hope made it all the worse.

I anticipate the typical off the bye week post game comments

"We should have been ready, that's on us. We need to do everything possible to focus on the next game and being prepared for that."

But I hope they can keep the mojo going so to speak. Team needs to put together a good run. I have faith still.

Which makes you wonder if they should have waited a bit before hiring Julien. No spark to be found with a new coach like we have seen elsewhere. I guess they couldn't wait but they may have shot themselves in the foot.

Coming off a bye week and rusty. Playing a very good team on the road that will be hungry to get back at the Bs. None of that can matter at this point for the Bs. Have to sack up and get the win. Hopefully they keep on rolling and get their 4th win a row.

Am I missing something? No mention of Beleskey in any of the line combos the last 2 practices

He must be injured.

If Czarnik is cleared to play, and they say he's an option for tonight, without someone going on the IR puts the Bruins at 24 roster players.

I thought the same thing then I looked at all the Bruins beat writers twitters and KPD had Beleskey in Schaller's spot.....

Side note, Fluto is up in Montreal covering Claude instead of being on the west coast...Let it go, Fluto...let it go

My guess?

Beleskey against the more physical Ducks (his old team) and Kings.

Also, how many more games does Schaller need to hit 40 this year? Nevermind, he has hit 51 and now can be one of the two forwards exposed in the expansion draft.
