Caps celebrate 50 years...I remember when they drafted Greg Joly first overall in 1972...I went to school with his sister Shawn and was excited for him...until I saw what little the NHL offered up KC and Wash in Expansion draft they were just a notch better than an AHL team really and then Philly stole the first overall(Mel Bridgeman) the next year for Washington's Futility,,,good to see they won a Cup and hopefully they Win another this year
