They say teams take on the personality of their coach. KK is as spineless as a jellyfish. The Oilers have taken that personality on.

A coach who doesn’t value hitting has no business in this league, I’m sure he’d be fine in the women’s league though.

There seems to be an issue with his offensive systems.

How did all this high powered offense dry up? How did Arvidsson, Henrique etc fall off a cliff? I suppose Henrique as a shut down 4C is a good use of his talents

Knob sucks. The team is full of entitled babies but the coach is overrated

Knobs systems defensively are good, he just hates any emotion and zero accountability unless your name is Jeff skinner

And the main reason they didn't match the offer sheets was to accrue cap space which they aren't doing anymore and to top it off they have to wait until March 1st, apparently, to see if they have any cap space for the deadline. This is amateur hour, and they hired a guy with massive baggage because of his "experience" yet he seems to be approaching as if he's never GMed in the league before. I never thought I'd long for Holland yet....here we are.

I agree, I’d look at moving some of the core if they tune out the 10th coach
