I think JT should be the captain. We have no captain, thats not right. We need someone in the locker room thats in charge and Trocheck is just too nice of a guy. I cant picture him holding someones feet to the fire he'd be the perfect right hand man to JT though. The team has potential and someone needs to rile them up. The team is just too soft, they need to harden the f*** up and we need better coaching too and a captain.

It's a weird Rangers quirk. Every group has a 'leader', even if they aren't a great fit for the role - so establish that hierarchy and allow for accountability.
Then change it when a new leader emerges.

The Rangers have put so much bullshit mythology into the C that it's some weird anchor now
