Hate where I'm at as a Rangers fan right now. I don't even know what I want the outcome of these games to be anymore. It's so hard to get hyped for a game when they can just come out and not care at all and get dominated, any given night. This is my least favorite Rangers team of my lifetime and it's not particularly close.

I'm trying so very hard to have hope, in fact I did @5pm. I was like, come on boys! Let's do this, and then payback to Pittsburgh. If our team doesn't somehow figure out that EVERY team in the league wants to kick the Rangers when their down, then they're just plain stupid. In fact, speaking of stupid I have a question. Exactly how many players do we have that have a decently high hockey IQ? I'm not really sure who I could name, beyond a shadow of a doubt. Fox? Yeah, well probably. Anybody else? We have talent, but we have some very stupid, stupid players.

Just like @Bacon Artemi Bravo said, I simply don't like where I am at right now, in regard to our team. Lose to Pittsburgh today (giving them the benefit of the doubt, because of layoff, then again Buffalo had one as well) and then I think if you are Drury, you have to do the unthinkable and follow through with GUTTING this team. There is a serious disconnect, a serious lack of "team play" and effort. To LOSE badly like that to Buffalo, is this season in a nutshell, and who would have thunk it?

5-5 in the last 10 and it's getting hard to get up and enthusiastic for the games again. Doesn't feel like even if the team makes the playoffs that they hav the get-up-and-go required.

Nashville won the presidents trophy in his second season so it hasn’t been every stop.

Any new coach would have done well as Gallant set the table for them and then the kids were all a year older/wiser and a couple of new additions that Gallant did not have to work with.....I tend to think that contributed to the point totals......but I doubt many will agree......which is fine LOL....it is what it is . We all see where we are now .

With hindsight the lack of effort yesterday wasn’t surprising - the whole leadership group (or close to it) and the team would be better served if they got a day off after Four Nations.

This is my routine, and I'm sure others have a similar one when approaching Rangers games. Go in preparing for an embarrassing loss, then you'll be pleasantly surprised but apprehensive when they do anything resembling hockey.
