If the refs called these 'technicals' as tight as they did tonight every night, I wouldn't have any issue with it but the too many men AND mcnabbs were both iffy.

That gets let go practically every game, and when they DO blow it dead, it's just a faceoff for the advantageous change

and in isolation i wouldn't even complain about it but in combination with all the other crap it's a joke

I actually had high hopes for him entering this season, he showed lots of promise last season, but this year it's been nothing but a series of mistakes when he's on the ice. I feel like Doughty's job is to babysit him and to cover up for the mess he creates.

That's why adding another top 4 dman is essential for this team if it hopes to play in June.

Yeah he's trash. Only times I've heard his name tonight are when he's reaching with his stick to whack someone or if the puck lands on his stick when suddenly there's a smidgen of effort.

Solid gold talent, solid brick heart.

I see the weakness on defense too but the kings system as a whole still does a pretty damn good job compared to most of the league. Kings inability to put the puck in the net is the biggest issue, but to be fair the addition of one or two guys won't help that.

Mcnabb is doing ok, certainly not great, but I don't think he's terrible either.
