I bet Ducks players were in the dressing room licking their chops to play a brutal B`s teamThe ducks are bad but they’re only 5 points behind the Bruins with 3 games in hand

They aren’t showcasing him giving him the 9th most minutes of the top 9.
Watching them play last night took me back to the Dave Lewis era Bruins. It’s been a while since I’ve felt this way about the team.Injuries aside this team seems to have a lot of going through the motions to it. That being said that d corps was pretty bad added to the fact the forwards aren’t that skilled overall
yep, like that team, basic understanding of fundamentals of the game are non-existent.Watching them play last night took me back to the Dave Lewis era Bruins. It’s been a while since I’ve felt this way about the team.
Ducks have talent but an average NHL coach. My sons HS linemate was a Northeastern Co-Capt during Cronin's early time there. He had them literally boxingI'm pretty sure if you ask fans, they would say the Ducks are a bottom feeder......Well our records are quite similar
No I hear you. I'm against it tooGo for it in the sense of adding for a 'playoff run' or at least a run to get into the playoffs. It would be Sweeney doing his Stafford/Liles/Stempniak thing: getting a couple of mediocre players/depth pieces and giving away even more futures to do it. Would it truly shock you if that was the path taken here? I am against it, but will not be surprised if that is what happens.
I definitely agree with you here about setting a new course.I will never root for another team though unless they are playing habs in playoffsThink I may be rooting for the Senators from here on for the season. Bruins losses are truly wins as they should get a better draft pick and maybe, just maybe, get Sweeney fired.
The genius getting canned before the deadline and a new GM and coach setting the course is a best case scenario. Make that whole coaching staff fired.
They'll never fire him before the deadline but if we miss, he could finally be let go. Hopefully, it's well ahead of the draft so our new management team can bring in a new scouting department. I think loses are important right now to prevent the desire to acquire more pieces at the deadline.Think I may be rooting for the Senators from here on for the season. I don’t know who is a leader and who isn’t. Someone made these claims and when I asked for an explanation of what made Marchand a great captain and Pasta and Coyle great leaders…..crickets. —- I think the lack of reply maybe says a lot.I think it's impossible for anyone to say definitively if any of the leaders on this team are good leaders or not.
I think the biggest problem is that the team just isn't talented enough. But losing to really bad teams over and over suggests that it's more than just talent. If players are shaking their heads at coaching decisions after getting 2 coaches fired (well, 1 fired and 1 not offered a contract) then that in and of itself indicates to me bad leadership.
The players aren't holding up their end and they are shaking their had at coaches? And the leaders aren't getting on them for that? Bad look.
Gonna be years. There is no way anyone could fix this in a short time. They are gutted of talent right through the system and 3 bozos in charge.I will say that it was nice having a break from the Bruins this season. I still am a fan but seeing how this team performs this season is very hard to want to watch. I just do not see this team playing with much emotion, it seems they lack that instinct to play hard for the win. The defense is what bothers me along with Swayman's play. Yes, he has some very good games but to be honest he has allowed too many soft goals. I said about 3 months ago that this is what I call a lost season, but I have told myself do not get all upset when they lose because even if they make the playoffs, it will most likely be a one and done ouster.
Just going to watch them and telling myself that there is always next year with hopes of acquiring some decent draft picks and trading for better players. Yes Time does tell All!!! Just how much time until we are solid contenders, that's the big question.
I think the most damning deficiency is the season-long poor state of our special teams. I figured when Kelly joined the coaching staff that we would at least have a strong PK. Alas no.Think I may be rooting for the Senators from here on for the season. Bruins losses are truly wins as they should get a better draft pick and maybe, just maybe, get Sweeney fired.
