It's funny. They were put together in the 3rd of a game, I think Tampa, and it worked. And in now the 4th game since, puke worthy. It's like the 1st time they were put together . . . killed it that 3rd period in the win against the Isles and then sucked thereafter.

Maybe the numbers are less awful than the optics, because we've reached the point where I'm with @pixiesfanyo in pining for Kahun's return.

Kahun is solid there. I think you are just upset because we had Kunitz - Malkin - Neal reincarnate with Jake.

I think we just give McCann his own line and he does whatever he wants with it and I think that will be best for everyone. Maybe he doesn't know how to play nice

Actually not weird at all. Crosby line has been better with Schultz last two years.

Last season:

Crosby/Guentzel + Letang = +30 OFF, -11 DEF
Crosby/Guentzel + Schultz = +0 OFF, +2 DEF

The first line actually sucked with Schultz last year, and was out of this world with Letang. You're focusing on the wrong factor - the common problem is Johnson on the left side. Not the RD
