I hope they still go after a top 4 D. Klingberg is fine as a 7th D at this point in his career.

I said this ad nauseam after we signed him but because Bowman and Stauffer insisted he was a top four option they suckered far more intelligent folks than it ought to have.

There was no reason to sign this player knowing what the team’s deficiencies are. It made no sense and even less now.

18 - no (way too inconsistent this year)


most of the D has been pretty solid for their cap hits, maybe Nurse is still a bit overpaid, but he's better value than most of our Forwards. Our cheaper forwards have been ok, some better than ok, 90, even 92, those are solid value.

for what they get paid, Pickard is fine for value, Stu, based on this season's results, is not much a value, if any.

Basically, I'm just trying to show, that this team isn't getting much value from anyone, at any contract, at any position. Lots of issues. Their record is flattering at this point, and not earned or deserved.
