no it doesn't a goalie can give up 2 goals in the first 5 shots but save 25 the rest of the game. Sv% isn't a state that gives you a meaningful snapshot of anything until after 60 minutes.

Most coaches pull a goalie with that stat line, so ya, it does matter.
