Selling or buying?
To me selling is getting rid of certain players in exchange for draft choices.
To me buying is getting rid of certain players in exchange for other established NHL players.

If the above is incorrect, please let me know.
I’d just add that buying is trading prospects and draft pics for established NHL players. Something, above all else, they should not do.

Since then.

When you watch a Bruins game now here is what you feel and expect:

1. Bruins get a PP, you're going to be pissed in 2:01.
2. Bruins last two minutes in any period: goal against.
3. 6 of the Bruins forwards 'almost' (don't kid yourselves, they just choke) score on a chance but they 'got a bad bounce'.
4. No trade.
5. No change.
6. At the end of the game, you're here angry and wish you didn't watch because you should have known 1-5 was going to happen again.
BONUS: Pastrnak will look even more fed up after each game.
I miss the days of the guaranteed puck over the glass penalty with 5 to go.

Simpler times.

Again probably not a sane thought, but I am just tired of seeing most of these same guys. I have seen enough of Coyle, Carlo and even Marchand. Not even performance related, just time to go IMO lol.

I know you are stuck with most of the defense and I do think Lindholm steadies it and they get better. I am a Swayman fan. I was a big Korpi critic but he comes to play.

Forward wise they are a disaster. Pasta is Pasta. Stud. The rest other than Poitras I could care less if they ever played another game for this team. I sell high on Geekie. I sell period on Coyle, Marchy and Freddy. I really have to see Lysell and Merkulov here for the next ten to see if they can give some life.

It's losses like today that make me infuriated with Neely's "Can they outscore their mistakes" BS 1980s mentality.

I'm glad this break is here too much stress watching this team . I'm gonna relax and watch some classic movies tonight escape from new York. Who likes that one here?
loved it.

Home from the game, made sure to read the game time thread and this thread before writing

The omen - When Geekie didn't lift the puck after a sweet feed from Pasta everyone in our section kind of sighed and said 'here we go again' -sadly we were right

Vegas didn't seem to be ready in the first period and the Bs we sharp in their skating and passing - one of their best periods in a while

About 5-6 minutes into the second period the game began to shift towards Vegas....and yet except for a last minute goal ( where have we seen this before) the Bs could have gone off leading by two

The third period was all Vegas and frankly I was surprised the final score wasn't more like 6-3; when a power play goal is revered and the other team comes back in less than 30 seconds to score again it is clear the Bs can not compete with a good team.

A couple of takeaways
- if ever a game was exhibit #1 for the need to be a seller this one was it

-it's not that the Bs lack talent- they have a fair amount and which we saw in the first period. What they lack is mental toughness and resiliency....this is a team that plays not to make a mistake versus make a play and the result is what we are seeing

-Beecher has regressed, Poitras looks lost, Lohrei shows promise but is inconsistent - so much of this goes to coaching or the lack thereof

-only a few players showed much effort today(Pasts, Zadorov, Marchand until he ran out of gas in the third). The list of no-shows is long and familiar needs drastic change. Frederick, Coyle, Carlo are top of my list to deal away ....and please can we stop the Johnson-Leterri-Wahlstrom revolving circle of ineptitude and bring up Lysell and/or Merk- they can not possibly do worse

Won't lie, when Vegas tied it up in the 3rd I turned it off, called the wife down and we finished watching the last 2 episodes of season 2 of 24. We are re-watching it after last seeing it about 10 years ago. Glad I did it judging from the reactions on here, I know I would have been as pissed as everybody else, never would have considered doing this in prior years.

This game was the Bruins season in a nutshell. Some good, more bad, inability to stop late goals, bad special teams, unforced errors, a few moments of quality but in the end no ability to hold back good teams when they really turn the screws.

Their Cup chances ended long ago, I think today is where their playoff chances realistically died as well. The math and schedule are now heavily against them, aside from the general inconsistency of their play. I believe management knows this and I am quite confident now that at the very least they won't be major buyers pointlessly giving up firsts and the like. It simply remains to be seen what else they do.

Blues GM Army setting prices high and will get it .Watch Sweeney give players away 😆
