You don't see that every day. Oh well. Didn't convert on the chances. Smith with two breakaways, nicely done. Looked good then bad then good on the PP.

Celly with a game to forget, but even so he had a few chances.

Mukh looks... Fine. Which is probably good enough for now.

Thompson has been looking very overwhelmed last few games.

That's funny, I thought Thompson looked good tonight. I liked his pop with the puck.

Those graphs are wild. Not used to seeing that at all!

You know what they say: Deserving only counts in horseshoes, hand grenades, and broken clocks with blind squirrels inside.

I don't like that they called it in OT. I didn't really see much to cause a penalty shot, but they only showed the replay once.
He was hooking him all the way from center ice ref was letting it go, until he continued to hook him going over the blue line, so it wasn’t meritless. The missed checking from behind on Mario was probably way worse

Who are the tall Russian/Belarussian players in this draft? A ton of them are breaking out in the NHL now. Voronkov, Marchenko, Protas, etc.

But no one with first round talent. Cause those ones bust like Kostin, Mukhamudallan and Alexeyev.

So tall under the radar third-four round picks only.
What?

This has to be Macklin's worst game of the season.
Only in terms of his penalties causing the 2 GA. There were many other penalties against, but I think the biggest difficulty tonight for Macklin was that Eklund had a real bad game. Couldn't get any plays going.

I'm mostly taking positives from this game. Sharks were the better team and Vanecek looked good.

How are people feeling about Wennberg as the #2C next season?

a combination of the long season and teams zeroing in are having an effect on Mack but he’ll be fine. As someone said, this is where growth happens.

I actually liked Muhk this game and would love to see him on the 2nd pairing to get more puck touches. I think he’s really mobile and really active and had some nice plays on both ends of the ice.

As I said earlier, Walman had his best game in a while too. Dumb loss, but they battled. That 4th line was fantastic.

Didn't get to watch the game, but based on the result there is a silver lining. Team has been a lot better keeping games close, Vanecek performed well and Celebrini seeing red should mean he will absolutely unleash himself in the next few years (good luck other teams)

I still want them to match the wins from last year before TDL, it's a lot to ask but I will believe.
