I think I've found one thing Celebrini can work on as time goes on. He needs to control the puck better in clutch time. I've seen him get pick pocketed a lot this season and Vancouver did it tonight. I bet in time he will get better with that, but if there is one flaw to his game (And he's a great player), it's that.

I don’t think I’ve seen many bang-bang plays like that called as a penalty shot… penalty sure. Separation wasn’t enough to warrant a penalty shot though.

It's almost like the extra space throws him off or something, kind of weird but I also notice that.

But I will say his clutch faceoff wins down the stretch in the 3rd were impressive.

That game is 100% on Macklin.

Unforced error led to the goal against. Missed the 2-1 to end it and capped it off with giving them a penalty shot.

And you know what? I kind of love it. You could see it on his face at the end, he's frustrated with himself. This is where growth happens.

Will take this 10/10 over Bedard looking frustrated at his teammates. Celebrini's look at the end is the look of a winner, even in a loss IMO.
