We've had the most difficult schedule of any team so far this season (strictly by strength of opponent)

AND we've had the most road games played in the league (tied with LA)

Despite this, we're in a playoff position with a 2pt buffer.

If you had told me at the beginning of the season that this would be our position at the international break, I'd be ecstatic.

We knew the fate of this team was going to be heavily dependent on health. We've been pretty good when relatively healthy (even despite missing our top goalie), and now we're pretty bad when missing two of our top 3 Cs. We're not in the tier where missing a couple of top dogs takes us just a notch down making us merely a bubble team.

Being in a WC playoff spot before this break is above par for what was to be expected from this team, maybe even a little better as far as I'm concerned. As long as we can get our top dogs back 100% healthy after the break *and we stay generally healthy* we should have a fun (but not for the faint of heart) final stretch to look forward to. Just don't expect any miracles if we somehow make the playoffs!

If I remember correctly, Pinto's line was facing the opponents top line 5v5. Also Norris line if it was a Dzone face-off. You're right about Stu, he needs to be sheltered to be effective 5v5 as C. The year he played wing was when he got 90 pts. Hasn't sniffed that type of production since being moved to C.
Wasn't the 90 point season the one where Stutzle started on the wing (and struggled), then absolutely took off when DJ had no choice but to try him at centre due to injuries?
