What a freakin weapon the PP is turning into, some of the best passing of the year. Just a thing of beauty

Wonder how many games earlier in the year might of gone in Boston's favor if they hadn't forced Backes into the "Eriksson" position instead of Marchand, and left Pastrnak to flounder on the 2nd PP unit getting 25-30 seconds at the tail end of PP.

He's been doing this all season. I'm glad he got something to show for it this time :)

I have had no issue with Schaller's effort this season and him going to the dirty areas. Unfortunately, his hands and finish are not on the same level with his grit, otherwise he would have 15 goals.

Ozone play has been great. Neutral zone has been decent and the D zone has been pretty atrocious. If they can clean up the D zone and continue to play the way they've been playing aside from that, they'll be in good shape.. but D zone has been a dumpster fire tonight. Big Z being out certainly a large part of that you'd imagine

Too many guys with stone hands. McQuaid cant play at this level anymore. He just statues over the puck in the corner with time and space. Hard to watch

If Schaller had been allowed to play that 4th line LW spot all season, going up and down the wing, going to the front of the net, and giving an honest effort, he would be praised.

Instead, he got force fed into positions higher up the line-up.

He's been better than Belesky this season. And at a fraction of the price.

This team needed to play to a half full building without the menacing defensive tyrant scowling behind them. A lot of things may help them tonight

This. Attack, never ever coast in this game (which this team continued to do)

This was one of my biggest pet peeves of CJ. He would just try to hang on to a one or two goal lead by playing prevent defense, and I hated that.

The only thing a prevent defense does, is prevent you from winning!.....just ask the Falcons.
