I think there was a lot of ugly in that period from the Bs especially in the defensive zone, but obviously some good job capitalizing on their chances and the PP is still humming. Pasta has an absolute bomb

Disagree. Goalies are as much a product of a team than anyone.

Price has been average at best lately. As has tuukka. Goalies can't be overplayed like tuukka has

Love the non forced passes to thr point.
Keep it low with the skill players.

Bad in there own zone at times ( to be expected ) but the stylistic change in the other teams zone was noticeable even without the goals . Let's hope it pays dividends.

It's a better fit.

Backes is more a passer than a shooter, and can win battles and gain possession.

Bergeron and Marchand are both more shooters than passers (although both are skilled at making plays), they think shoot first. Backes can feed those two and go to the net.

Oh and defensively it should be as good as any line in the league. You can match them up against anyone.

I still would like to see Backes in the middle eventually, but right now it's much better than Backes with Krejci.

You could see it was a better fit the couple games they played together back in Dec., but Julien didn't give it a chance.

Price is said to be the best goalie in World ,and has not played well now 2 months..He is 23-27 in playoffs and no Cups and not 1 final, yet folks here bash Rask for everything..It's old. .Bruins have 1 lousy win without Rask.I'm done defending Rask.Without him they pick top 3
