I think he's saying Kane, DBC, drafting have all been solid, but the shitty free agency signings are negatives.
Sorry, I didn't word my post the best. Dbc is an absolute win and is killing it right now. Kane on his salary is also a win to me. I must've watched that hit by cat at least 20 times by now. I adore our first line. Our d is atrocious outside of 3 players.

It seems some guys are more protected from criticism than others.
I'll take the one really bad play from seider (age 23), over the 10 bad plays we get per game from gus (age 32) and holl (age 33). Should seider be scrutinized for that? Absolutely, but at least he'll learn from it. But the constant garbage from 2 veteran defensemen is a much more glaring problem than a guy that improves every year and eats 25 hard minutes each game.

Everyone mad at Gus and Holl, but Seider made the bad play on the second 3rd period PP that started everything going sideways.

I honestly didn't really notice holl much, which is great for him. With Gus it's all about that unbelievably boneheaded play in OT that led to the goal. That's the part of the game he's supposed to be good at.

I agree about that. I had more Ed in mind. He makes mistakes a lot, but is never called out on it. He somehow manages to lose the race to the puck when he is closest to the puck near the boards. This happens a lot with him, and should be concerning. It is almost as if he is a bit afraid.

That said, I think this one is on the coach. He failed to adjust. Losing Copp also attributed to the loss.

Pretty unnacceptable loss tbh. I was stewing about that lackadaisical power play off of the coach's challenge the rest of the game.

I don't think they could have mentioned Ryan Hartman anymore even if they tried. Cringe with them going on and on like he is something special missing for Min. Cally talks both really quickly and a lot without really saying anything. Thank goodness for the rules analyst, what would we do without him?

Why on earth did Chiarot get sent over the boards in OT? Mo and Ed can handle the 5 minutes taking turns.
