Just because some are pointing out how bad the rest of the team is that doesn’t mean you are excusing Skinner. There is no one who believes in him in here, wants him in goal, thinks he is good. He sucks but not every goal is on him, he can’t save everything. This team defense right now is so bad and the effort throughout in this game is terrible.

Are there any real fires to any rumours of a potential upgrade in net? Because at this point, it’s painfully obvious that we have a real problem with our goaltending.

Ive said this before- the oilers are oddly proud of not investing in goaltending and getting a below average goalie. Media says the same thing. “The Oilers are only paying 3M on goalies this year- one of the lowest in the league”. I’m not sure “we invest no money in goalies and we are getting our moneys worth” is really an argument

His save percentage is flattering. A shooter tutor puts up the same performance he did until the flyers already have 5.
