Savoie is basically a much more skilled Yams, who Drai also loved playing with. I can see this working out really well.

Great point. Quick, and quick to distribute. Drai thrives working with players who don't play a heavy possession game and instead allow him to delegate with the puck and play off of his possession.

Absolutely man. I was thinking about that during the break, for a guy like him it could be really good. A little rest for the body after playing a few games after a LONG break. But also time to mentally reconfigure, watch some video and figure out the little details that could use work. He’s a vet with a decent career so it’s not like he’s building from scratch.

Right. Savoie is basically that same mold as Yams. Pesky, speedy, great on the foreskin, undersized but plays bigger than his size, but with actual top 6 hands/brain. He's looking great so far. I think he is a cornerstone piece of this team when we enter into the next phase of McDrai in a couple of years
