Let’s try and tone down the player bashing tonight. Criticism is one thing but some of you have been way over the top. This goes for Mika, Kreider, Laf, and now Fox….can’t believe I’m typing Fox’s name.

I’m only posting this because I’ve gotten complaints from members and I’m trying to find a middle ground and a compromise.

Have spoke to @Machinehead about this and we agree.

Frankly, a member complaining about it is not a valid reason to enforce it and embracing censorship belittles the value of the community. If people aren’t being profane, spreading rumors or slandering players, there isn’t a single reason why any player, from Rempe to Fox to Gretzky himself, should have a gag order on being criticized. If you cannot handle a stranger on the internet criticizing a stranger celebrity, you need to go outside and touch grass, not complain to “the authorities” that they need to put a stop to it.
