Has enough balls to ask for the biggest contract in history for a goalie but can't even face the music when he shits himself for a 6th straight game.
f*** that guy.gif

I know Jones isn’t awesome but I love how Drury traded for Vaakanainen and that was the end of Jones. are you kidding me? Urho Vaakanainen? I truly can’t stand this team.
Jones is another guy they didn't give a sliver of a chance to.

I've always scoffed at that notion with Lafreniere and Kakko because TOI never told a lie but they have done it to people.

Worst example is Chytil.

Yeah and when they gave him some run last season because of injuries he played well, started of fine this season but struggled a bit after and that was it. So sick of this shit.

I understand why people are upset when the players don't talk, but just my opinion, I don't really care. What are they gonna say?

I stopped listening to any post-game stuff when they fired Torts. At least he was funny.
These guys rarely say anything candid. They seem confused as well.

1:46 into the game K'Andre puts the puck up the boards towards Mika and it never really got there. It was a lame ass brain dead play that got the ball rolling for the Sabres. The team chases games all the time. They've chased the entire season. It's a team that can't handle adversity. Last year--yeah. This year--no. Even with mostly the same players.

Mas was going on about us not having our 1st but we're going to have that 1st if we end up in the bottom 13 and I think we got a very good chance at that. We won't have next year's 1st then.

The trade deadline can't come soon enough and Drury needs to pull the plug on this season because this team just does not have it and even if we're still hovering for a playoff spot trying to drag this group into the playoffs is not going to be worth it. Tonight was a must win game and this was maybe the sorriest no show effort of the season. This is not a good team. Personally I think it's all but over.

I think we may end up with at least a first this year and next year. If we don't make the playoffs we keep ours (2025) and probably trade for another in 2026.

I get why people bring up the effort thing but also, you kind of have to acknowledge that this team is just really bad.

That notion kind of got shooed away because they had good runs, but those teams were always fragile. Not mentally or physically. You could make that argument but it's not the one I'm making here.

They were fragile in the sense that a ton went right and they couldn't handle too many guys not playing their best. This year, the shit hit the fan on pretty much everyone from Kreider, to Zibanejad, to Fox, to Lafreniere regressing back to what he was.

And as I mentioned earlier, maybe this is the worst version of it and they're not this bad but we have to acknowledge when a team was never that great and needed too many things to go right. They need to make very significant changes.
