Mike Richards and Justin Williams will be playing their first game against their former team.

Gaborik was placed on IR after suffering a “lower body injury” in the game against the Rangers on Friday,
and is expected to be out long term:

Kings Coach Darryl Sutter said Monday that injured winger Marian Gaborik is going to be
out of action "long-term, for sure…Hope to get him back for the playoffs."

Jonathan Quick practiced with the team in New Jersey and may play Tuesday.
Peter Budaj remains with the team with the extra roster spot cleared by Gaborik.

Capitals will treat this like a game 7, trying to prove they are for real. The Kings will play like it is just another game on the schedule. Whoever is in net for the Kings needs to play out of his mind for the Kings to win.

Are you guys thinking that Enroth will get the start, or is it still too to tell?
 
I think the Kings will show up in this one. Top team in the league, plus Williams and Richards. I think the Kings will at least be emotionally involved. More Rangers game, less robot game against the Devils.

Even if the Kings do come to play, the Caps are 20-4-2 at home, 5-1-1 against the Pacific, and 10-3-2 overall against the West.

A point would be good, 2 obviously ideal. Don't want to go down to 2-3 on the trip, with then 2 games against conference opponents left, one being against the Blues, and then Nashville is always a thorn in the side.
 
watched the 2012 cup DVD this weekend, made me very grateful for Richards and Williams.
Wish they were still on the team (richards not at $5.75M though).
I always get excited to see brown and kopitar play together. i know Brown isn't the guy he once was, but watching the 2012 cup run got me all sentimental I guess.
 
For all the times I have watched the Caps this year, I still cannot get used to JW in that jersey. Just looks odd.

Miss the guy, but happy he is doing well in DC.

Still to early to tell...I'm speculating Quick will be ready tonight

But yeah with his injury we have a goalie-go-round, may have to just flip a coin
