I don't mind a few 11:00 starts throughout the year. The comment is moreso about back to back 11:00 starts less than 40 hours after that championship game ended.

Not sure why the championship game wasn’t on Wednesday. I don’t think 3 day break was necessary.

When I first saw that, I thought it made sense to ensure the players are in their best possible shape for that final, but seeing how many teams are playing this weekend and how many are playing back to back, I agree, it should have been Wednesday.

Yay! Oilers hockey is back! I'm sure Connor is going to be super happy to be back with his team. As expected, not much chemistry with the boys on team Canada. Glad they got the win. But that's not the trophy Connor wants, and he knew it too, barely lifting it during the ceremony.

Also, league MVP got a nice 2 weeks off. He's going to destroy this league over the next 4 months now.

I wouldn't be upset if Connor sat for Saturday's game. Not saying it's a meaningless game, but need to look at the bigger picture here.

For me, I'd let him ride the wave of adrenaline and play these two games, but then hold him out vs. the Lightning. Tell him to take a personal day and go the enjoy the beach before the rematch vs. the Panthers.
