How come bobble heads never look like the guy their supposed to be honoring?!?

Because teams like to use them as giveaway items, and in order to drive down the cost of the item they usually end up outsourced to China. More specifically, it ends up in the hands of people who ascribe to the theory of "all non-Asians look alike".

Bobbleheads are hardly the biggest disaster involving this type of thing. Anyone remember the the Texas Co-Op statue abomination?
