Fair, but even if the goal doesn't get called back the Jets still scored on a PP. Two periods to go, Jets will make sure there's no controversy by scoring a few more tonight!

When you replay that GI goal you can see Rantanen lifts Comries stick up and brings it in towards his body, twists it around and basically drags Comries right hand (as well as the stick) away from his body which opens a seam for the puck to get through. Comrie clearly has a visual on the puck coming at him cause he slides to the right but since his stick is being held by Mikko he cant make a deflection.

Goalie interference isn’t as random and grey area as people seem to be making it out to be.

It’s basically the old “in the crease” interpretation, only difference being that they won’t disallow a goal where the player creates no contact at all.
