The best thing the production team could do tonight is cold mic the Canadian anthem singer and in doing so encourage the crowd to sing the anthem.

Much classier than booing the US anthem while reinforcing that Canada stands united against Trumps tariffs.

Regardless of you political affiliation all 3 national leaders have been outspoken against the tariffs as has every provincial leader.

For once our country stands united. Let’s hear your singing voices tonight Winnipeg!

With that being the case, it’s quite reasonable that this is a fair topic in tonight’s thread

Let’s keep in mind that regardless of who you voted for, provincially or federally, all premieres and all leaders of our national parties have stood united over the past week.

Whether you boo or not tonight, I'd suggest the best move is for all in attendance to sing the Canadian anthem proudly when it's played.

Nothing to do with anthems, I have the same position when people here ask not to boo certain players when they are in town (PLD, Trouba, Kane etc) or when jerseys are tossed on the ice in disgust. The last people who should be lecturing paying fans and STHs about how to behave at the arena are people watching from home.

As long as you are not being vulgar, aggressive or otherwise ruining the experience for other fans, paying fans at the area have the right to do as they please.

I don’t remember the 7/11 tickets for some reason, but I fondly remember the spaghetti factory deal. For 20$ you got a ticket, a meal, a rented tuxedo, then got bused to the game and back with schnapps on the bus to boot. Great fun.
