Googoo says rink dimensions have never changed. Guess it's a combo of the camera distance from the ice level and player size and lack of equipment.

This is the second best player in the world???

This guy is better than Cale Makar? He's better than Sidney Crosby? This pylon is better than Adam Fox??? I could go on.

Not to mention people want me to believe he's the second best player in the world, his teammate is #1 and basically a faster Gretzky, and the team is .500. It doesn't add up. Crosby and Malkin took Pittsburgh's AHL team to the top of the standings year after year in the Bylsma era.

When Lucic was on Edmonton I used to get him & Draisaitl mixed up because they look so similar out there lol

GG, you gotta concentrate on the game buddy. Take a claritin and hopefully the sniffles will go away. But as long as you are here, Jake makes the team actively worse. Krav doesn't. If that means the best thing for the team is Krav on line 4, than so be it. If that means we make a super 4th line of Gaut, Goodrow and Vesey, that works too.

He's very good at getting lost in coverage. No, he's not the second best player in the world but he's up there. Can Edmonton win with him? That is still up for debate. I do agree with you though that he's not trying most of the time. But what he did last year on one leg was very impressive, McDavid or no McDavid.

Oh, the witty GG reference…the other kids at recess probably got a chuckle out of that.

I won’t defend Jakes skills or lack thereof….but to suggest one make the team better and one makes the team worse is laughable. It’s fair to say that neither are moving the needle one bit as far as the team goes. Your witless retort not withstanding, your boy isn’t top 9 material on this team…no matter what kind of ”super” 4th line you desire for the others.
 
Big Panarin game coming? He is on fire and playing as well as his near Hart season. Oh by the way he was robbed of that by McDavid’s caddy.

Can't control the refs tho. We are better than the majority of teams so the refs' game management strategies bite us.

Not my boy. I want the Rangers to do well. I also have eyes. Jake ain't the answer.

That’s it. Rangers have been in the lead a lot lately so the point shaving burns the Rangers more. It’s almost a dumb strategy to come out strong and take the lead. Might as well fall behind and let the refs take the wind out of the opponent and reverse the momentum for us.

McDavid hasn't scored a point in 6 games this season... what a bum.

Lets make it 7....

or at the least, lets not let him score a legendary highlight reel goal skating through the entire team.

My prediction is that Shesterkin will have a good game tonight.
Hopefully defense will do their part.
I think Mikkola will be improving his game too, getting adjusted to his new team.

But it was a lovable dump.....I went there a few times during it's last years.......I always likened it to the Polo Grounds when Mets were formed....
