People hate him when he plays bad and people hate him when he plays well.

Why is he still getting shit despite being our best skater for over a month now? Dont bring up 5v5 points. I am talking about analytics.

Fun fact: When he was putting up points people were shitting on him for having bad analytics. Now he gets flack for not putting up points despite good analytics.

Not me, I would love if he was our number one center because we need him to be, he just isn't. The biggest issues are the blind passes and the fact he can't hit the net like he used to, two things that could easily be worked on at practice. Which is why he is so frustrating to me

I was just telling my buddy even though we are dominating this period, I feel a sense of imminent doom because we don’t defend. Then they gave up the 3rd goal 30 seconds later.

Laf no back check and Lindgren head up his ass. Unreal.

If proven wrong I would happily admit I am wrong but all I get is ad hominem retorts. Nobody is actually calling me out on the facts, I get called out because I defend a player some of you dont like.

Look, I applaud your passion, I really do. I've mentioned to you previously you'd be taken more seriously if you weren't always in "gotcha" mode or defending your client about every tiny thing. You mocked me for that advice, but now the entire board considers you Mika's Webster.

You've been given facts quite often. You either chose not to agree with them or simply ignore them by rebutting with vague statements like "best player since the break". A few days ago, I posted the forward stats for the month of January where Mika had 8 total points, 3 at even strength. That didn't fit your narrative, so you simply ignored it.

To be fair, he's clearly been our most productive forward since the Miller trade & it benefits everyone if he keeps it up. It doesn't change the fact that fundamentally he's a shell of that player we saw in 19-20. However if he can reinvent himself somehow into a capable 3C we can either live with that or it raises his trade value enough to get out of the rest of his deal. Both of those would be considered wins at this point.

Call up Groulx if they are serious about playing Mika with Miller.
Let's see if there's anything there at the NHL level. It's not like we're winning anyway
Please don't call up anyone until there is some veteran accountability.

We already lost Laf, Cuylle and all the other young guys to this Panarin style of BS play.

Let's not teach it to others.

Is this 4 nations load of crap really a big deal? I feel so exhausted by our nightly shit show I dont really feel motivated to watch it.

It's a really painful feeling watching the team that made Game 6 of the ECF 2/3 years completely slip away into a dark void.

I still think this team is 10x better next season despite what others believe.

I couldnt care less if the boards peanut gallery calls me "Webster" or Mikas "agent".

My "narrative" has always been Mika shit oct-dec and improving since the break and now over a span of 10+ games our best player analytics wise.
