Pin it on him? No, not at all, it was screw ups and laziness by multiple players. But Faff was one, and he's been doing it a lot.

Although I do admit we may be asking a bit much from our #1OA

The only reason any of us dislike Zibanejad is because hes being paid to be our #1 center and he's nowhere close to that. If he was nobody would "hate" him. I feel the same about Kreider, Lindgren, and even Shesterkin since the new deal.

We weren't bad at defending when Quinn was coach. We just tried to play open hocky and have 3 cherry pickers. This is just lack of any effort to play defensively. The D suck but the forwards give zero f***s closing gaps and pressuring let alone covering dudes.

This team will never ever win with Ryan Lindgren on the roster. He is trash. Absolute trash.

Beyond that the accountability issues continue. This team is despondent. It is why Laviolette should have been fired in December. Right wrong or indifferent. He should have been fired.

The primary assist comes from Laf's man that he slows down behind and never ends up catching. This has been Laf's MO. If he just hustles some he can maybe break up the pass from 4 to 78, but the play breaks up if Laf can backcheck his man. Lindgren is just f***ing Lindgren, it doesn't matter who he's covering, it's probably going to end up badly anyway.

He really needs to change things up.

I'm sure he'll drastically change the lines in the third.

Something new and completely different like Kreider, Zib and someone else...with Fox and Lindgren on D.

Yep this game alone Fox would have 2 more points if he had a d partner with any ability to do something with the puck in the ozone
