We can be negative about this year because the players don’t seem to care. But majority of them have been to the ECF 2 out of the last 3 years and were a few Trouba moments away from legit shots at the Cup.

This is one of those games that could have like a +/-5% chance at making the playoffs all by itself. Appropriate to have something so high stakes before a long break. We have to jump this team.

There are still 28 to play, but this is as close to a 'must win' as you can have in February. Ideally in regulation.
 
Well, at least this season has given me hope that there is an alternate timeline where all of our 1sts from 2017-2021 boomed and we’re a dynasty.

Last nights lost was disgusting. Came home and stayed up to watch it until after 3 am. Just cause they decided not to match Pens intensity and discipline.

I'll probably tune in for the first 10m or so. That will tell me whether I want to watch the following 50.

At least there's some exciting college hockey tonight, that's my plan A.
 
@GoAwayPanarin my iPad was at 55% power, I went to grab my phone to take a pic, and it dropped to 54%. I missed the chance. But I look at my phone, and it's:

North-south hockey with hard forechecking. Lots of hits (not stupid big hits) and board work. Dump and chase. Work the cycle. Shots from the point with screens. Big, physical defensemen in the back. No pinching. Stand up at the blue line. Clear the front of the net and let the goalie see the shot. Stop playing man and tight point. And stop this east-west nonsense. Especially on breakouts.
