I dunno about that, Suzuki started the season off so strong and then faded away. It sucks that every other team has PPG players except us. So many players are producing over expectations this season.
Aho has 6 or 7 good forwards to help out. Suzuki has 2 - Caufield and Dach. And the best Habs d are rookies. Suzuki will put up 80+ when the team returns to contention.

He isn't generating near enough speed to be the prime puck carrier on the PP. That much is evident.
The problem is, our powerplay is as predictable as the Leafs pre-season Stanley Cup celebration every year. Same drop pass, same player, wash/rinse/repeat.

It's like they're running a True/False test and they can only answer True.

And Suzuki doesn't have anyone to play with up front right now with Caufield injured and Dach out tonight.

You can't make chicken soup from chicken shit.

Oh I know not attacking the blue with multiple players moving in unison is just plain stupid.

Gorton lost his job in NYR for this reason.
It was because he didn't have any enforcers. He has guys like Xhekaj, Anderson, Edmundson etc here to protect players. Unfortunately only Xhekaj seems to be willing to do that on a regular basis. Need to go after L'Heureux. He is willing to beat up any opponent and fans.
