97 is so off this year, because regular season success means sweet **** all to him at this point. I get that but it’s frustrating to watch when you know what he’s capable of.

I wouldn’t bet against him performing another Conn Smythe-worthy run this year but this time securing the ultimate prize.
He’s won every personal accolade there is to win. I think he’s just doing enough to help the team win and is in 2nd gear to save it for the playoffs. He knows what a grind that is now with all the travel for the northern most WC team.

If he’s like this come Game 1, then we can worry.

We don’t need two Arviddsons

The Oilers with McDavid on score at a better rate on the powerplay than Mackinnon does with the Avs.

Mackinnon just has 60 more minutes of powerplay time this year, because the avs diving draws them 5 powerplays a game.
What are you watching? Oilers have 4 PP vs Avs 2

People seem to forget how he was coasting down the stretch last year and the difference between regular season and playoff mcdavid.

They must not realize he was so dominant in the playoffs he won the conn smythe and didnt even win the cup last year.

This is just cope. As competitive as McDavid is he wont do this. He knows there isnt a switch you just hit. The troubling thing is bad choices he makes with the puck this year. Hes had 3 breakaways in the last 2 games and didn't do anything on either on of them. His feet appear to be working but the brain is on vacation.
