I did I slightly underestimated the home team and overestimated the road team.

The second effort and buy-in defensively was there on almost every shift. Even with the mistakes. I don't expect that every night (it's obviously not sustainable) but they should aim for that as the default from here on out. It's been a long time since many in this group had to play desperate hockey in February/March.

Poitras can deliver a pass. I said before he was sent down the first time, but he's easily #2 behind Pastrnak on this team when it comes to vision and playmaking.

McAvoy is still a level ahead of every other defenseman on this team. By a good margin. Shocks me that people throw his name around as trade fodder at 26/27. Still has a gear to gain IMO.

They did a great job in front of Swayman and he made all the necessary stops. Would love to see him back-2-back tomorrow and earn that salary.
