They can be. Pretty big difference though between Fleury who grew up just out of Montreal and played his early junior hockey there, and Bergeron who was a Quebec City boy through and through. One is a true local, the other not quite so much.

I've entered the mixed feelings phase. Always kind of want them to win and making the playoffs is always fun but I think it would also be better for them to lose badly before this stupid 4 Nations break so that the stubborn boys up top have no choice but to realize it's rebuild/retool time and sell not buy.

I hate this. Mainly because I strongly agree.

Until get a definitive sense that we won’t use picks or youth to “reach” for the playoffs, I will worry each and every time we win.

I’m still the same old idiotically loyal Bruins fan — but my gut tells me that if we lose a few more battles over the next few days we have a chance of winning the war again soon.
