TONIGHT’S GAME- The Bruins host the Wild tonight in the first of two games between these teams this season and the Wild’s lone visit to TDGarden this year ... The Bruins are 26-22-6 overall this season with a 17-8-3 record on home ice.- The Bruins are opening tonight their seventh of nine sets of back-to-back games this season ... They are currently 2-4-0 in the first game of those sets and 5-0-1 in the second games so far.- The Bruins play tonight game two of their seven-game February schedule with a game vs. the Wild ... They continue with a road game tomorrow at NY Rangers and a home game on Feb. 8 vs. Vegas ... They will follow the 4-Nations break and finish the month hosting Anaheim on Feb. 22, Toronto on Feb. 25 and NY Islanders on Feb. 27.

It is always nice to see the Flower come to town. A true legend of the sport. The Wild are a decent team but they miss Kaprizov and their recent form is only so-so. If the Bruins put in a good showing, and their home form mostly suggests they will, then there is a win here for the taking. Hoping Poitras has another strong game, and as much as I love Pasta dominating, it would be nice to see one or two more who aren't him or his linemates step up and make big contributions.

And welcome back to Boston Jakub Lauko! Tough kid, always liked his compete and his willingness to be his own quirky self.

At first I thought Guy Lafleur had become the new Wild coach.

If the Bruins can put up six goals in a game, I don't care if Pasta gets all of them.

Lauko a pretty good 3rd round pick (77th overall) by Bruins in 2018.

There may only be a few must wins left. If they lose the next 3, they'll sell.

So it's absolutely a must win in that sense. Maybe they can get away with something like 2-0-1 in the next 3. Then it's the break.

Sweeney only has 10 games left to decide. And with 13-15 sellers this year, I think people will want to sell early.

Have to get minimum 4 points before the break. You would have to think Sweeney's out of office/vacation message will be taken off his emails when the Four Nations comes, so I expect wheeling and dealing

maybe they could have used some of Lauko's energy this year.

Everyone is back healthy except Hampus, right?

I think given that fact, it'll be very hard to predict what this team will do.

internet says he's an option for tonight. As healthy as we've been in ages. If nobody gets hurt in the next 3, we could have the whole team healthy post tourney. I don't know if Charlie or Sway play the tourney. So only Pasta and Elias will.

edit: hmm Charlie is an A on team USA. He probably will play. Man he needs healing/rest.

The standing will make I clear. They don't control the situation any longer.

Nothing this team has shown even when healthy gives any indication it is a playoff team.

They are not good enough, the picture is right in front of them.

And Im ok with this, you can't be one of the best teams in the NHL for 15 years

Pasta isn't playing in the tourney. No team Czech unfortunately.
