Terrible call by the refs on the coach’s challenge.

That was no attempt to play the puck either but what ever. turned off the game got out of all discover live game things cause of the continue annoyance of the word tanking that seems to be used a lot when clearly the team isn't intentionally trying to lose on purpose.

Kinda surprised Calgary hasnt called Timeout here, Seattle is all OVER them.

NM a "too many men" penalty changes the momentum

Wild that he's given up 3 goals and still has a very respectable .912 sv%

Other team's PP feel so much more structured and clinical than the Kraken's...

This team feels like we're quietly just waiting for Kakko and Wright to get some more support. Beniers to a lesser degree, but those two feel like they're our most consistent forwards. Hopefully our pick is early enough that it changes things a bunch.

It is like to play good, consistent hockey for three periods is beyond this team somehow. I don't think you can blame this entirely on coaching; the players have the lion's share of responsibility here.

Typical Kraken game. Bad first period, great third. So frustrating.

The Kraken are a pretty light weight team. They get steamrolled in the first by heavy forechecks but have the legs to keep going deep into the third. There was a blurb that the Kraken are the 5th highest scoring team in the 3rd.

Other points: They rely too much on cross ice East West for their offence. The D also feels a bit iffy at times (strangely Dunn seems to be one of the offenders of late). The spine isn't quite there yet. Beniers and Wright are growing but they are not game breakers yet. Also too many light weight players as I said, not that I dislike most of them individually. Bjorky, Burky, McCann, Schwartz, Beniers, Wright, Tolvanen (even if he hits) and also on the D side. The boards are such a huge part of the NHL game. Also they struggle to take up space in front of the opposition's net (as everyone keeps saying).

A positive is that the PK looked better with the sturdier box and the two D standing deeper together. The PP needs work on puck movement when setting up (cooler heads and more puck control)

Not even bothered. They made a fist out of it after they managed to get on the board and had good chances right down to the end, Daccord put up good numbers so I can keep touting him as one of the most unheralded stud goaltenders in the entire league, and they didnt dork up their draft position by picking up any points. As far as this season is concerned, that's about as good as a game gets for me.
