The beauty of having the depth that we have is that the first line can lose its matchup, but if the other lines, special teams and goaltender win theirs, you can still succeedJets are never going anywhere with this top line. They scored right before a wild player had wide open net on the one timer. Then spend the next shift giving up multiple scoring chances buried in their own zone.
These goals they are scoring are a net negative in the long run. Starting to smell like those Scheifele-Wheeler-X lines of the past where the best you could hope for is for them to break even.
In fact, maybe it's a new way of doing it
