You don’t know what is best for the team. You're insufferable
I understand Hamonic for the most part not being the reason between losses and wins but its such an easy change or non change to maximize your roster by putting in a better player over an inferior one regardless of position.
I think this is true but also doesn’t consider that Green is also capable of making mistakes. It’s not as though everyone gets it right all the time. It’s a boring analysis to pretend people are always right because it’s their job.You don’t know what is best for the team.
That’s why Green gets the big bucks.
Wasn't that bad of a loss, considering they just played the night before. Playoff hockey, here we come!!!They certainly didn't being their A game last night. Gonna need a much better response Thursday
Both in the O zone and D zone (PK).Need to be more disciplined, missing Pinto/Norris for a bit means can't necessarily rely on as much offense.
Probably not a one man decision here. Buck stops with Green though. Zaitsev was all DJ from day 1.I think this is true but also doesn’t consider that Green is also capable of making mistakes. He obviously understands the game 100x better than we do, and he’s said there are intangibles Hamonic brings we don’t see. He’s also our toughest defenseman. But I don’t think that means we have to ignore what our eyes tell us or what the analytics say - he produces no offense and he is prone to making his partners worse. I disagree with Green on this, doesn’t mean I’m right.
And DJ Smith said Zaitsev was an elite defender, then we had to give up a 2nd to trade him, and after a stint on the worst team in the league he is no longer in the NHL.
According to Brent Wallace on CIH today, it's a strain, probably muscle, and should be back after 4 Nations. The remaining boys just need to get through this week. Hopefully having Ullmark and Jensen back is enough to win.Norris is out for a few weeks according to Green
I love the discipline Hamonic can show when it comes to toughness, he doesn't take stupid penalties but he's either too slow with the puck or too reactionary.
Green needs to stop playing him when we have a more viable option in Matinpalo.
I think he thought Stutzle could catch the Tampa player entering on the leftMaybe someone has covered it, and I don't know enough to be critical of him, but who was Hamonic waving to to cover the wing on the third goal? Was he telling Ullmark he was on his own with that guy? Was it his imaginary friend from childhood? Just seemed weird since there was no one else over there to take the guy.
