Surprise surprise
After Sanderson it's now Kleven's turn to drown because of Anchormonik

Didn’t deserve to win this game, but sucks another ref not paying attention power play ends up in our net. Would have been satisfied with one point given bolts played well and we were decent at best.

why didn't we challenge the disallowed goal? perbix pushed gaudette? into vasilevski. Looked like alfie might have talked green out of it.

I thought the last GI goal was BS, but this one is hard to argue. Gaud went in with his own momentum and I thought it was a fair call. The BS high stick PP goal against Brady was vintage refs can’t keep up and should be replaced with AI/camera/off ice officials.

I was expecting a loss here so I’m not going to be too mad at the result. We were going to lose at least one of those 2 games against Tampa. Tampa shouldn’t be where they are in the standings.

The tough part is now missing Pinto. Team cannot stay healthy. So many guys are in and out of the lineup week to week it’s been impressive they’ve not only stayed afloat but managed to play really well without key players … but this will be diffficult to sustain. There are some teams that have it worse than us but when you look at our lineup we’ve pretty much constantly had 3-4 guys out. This is where the importance of depth around the lineup comes in and this is still an area where we are lacking.

I think Staios needs to start looking more seriously at what he can do to help this group get critical divisional points. We have the 2 week break coming up that’ll be more than needed. Crazy to say with the stretch we’ve just had but with Detroit playing Seattle tonight we are a loss away from being out of the playoffs.

Just like it took two injuries to give Leevi an opportunity, and two injuries for Matinpalo, maybe the injuries to both Pinto and Norris will be the opportunity to see Halliday? While Halliday may not be a good option for the bottom 6, maybe using him in the top 6 but mostly with O-zone starts will be acceptable?

Chuck - Stu - Giroux
Perron - Halliday - Batherson <- dubious line but what can you do?
Highmore - Greig - Amadio
Reinhardt - Ostapchuk - Gaudette

Our forward depth is getting seriously tested. In addition to Norris and Pinto, let's not forget we're also missing Cousins and Gregor.

Even if Detroit and Tampa leap us, we're still ahead of Boston, Columbus, Isles, etc.
