They looked like the old Sens at times tonight, but still hung in there & had a chance to win it almost to the end. Giroux had the best chance in the game to tie it up.

I think part of the reason we lost was the back-to-back with travel.

I think more of it had to do with Norris and Pinto being out of the lineup.

Ullmark did what he could. I know I will get chriped for saying this, but don't you think Leevi would have stood on his head there? He has quite the recent history of doing just that.
Chirp! :)
Ully played well and kept us in this game.
Losing both Norris and Pinto is a lot to overcome.

f***ing bullshit. We should have had a 5 v 3 during that previous PP. We were obstructed and hooked everywhere.

That's kinda the point of going overboard with hooking and holding. Do it all the time and the refs end up letting most of it go. Advantage to them. Also why most of the 1990s happened when everyone decided to go that route.

Positives : we were in the game until the last second on a back to back without Norris and Pinto. Good first game back for Ullmark.

Negatives : Third pairing (looking at you Hamonic) and well refs didn't help (which we should be used to by now).

We need to win on Thursday, hopefully Pinto is back and not a serious injury.

I’m not saying he will never score. He will score goals. Many players will score goals. He’s a disaster
Ya, I am not praising the player by any means - he has been very disappointing this year! Just funny, observing the timing of your post. Of course he scores seconds after you made it!

Batherson the pp gave the puck away 3 times. Should be first on the trade block offers essentially nothing for 85% of the season
If one must go, Batherson looks like the underachiever who is near the top of the line. The coaching staff needs to address his lack of urgency, energy and lack of drive. He disappears too often.
