Another one is that he is quite strong but so is Matinpalo. To be fair to him, there are a few subtle aspects of Hammers game to like but he's obviously too slow for today's NHL pace. Perhaps controlling the puck better reduces the need to block shots as well

Not looking for Hasekian pull-your-back gymnastics from him... grand flashy movement and lose-your-jock-strap saves. For goalies of his caliber I look for calmness, and he was that 1st period. So far, so good!
