I don’t disagree with these, but I’m happy with keeping Kleven and Matinpalo together. They’ve played plenty together and have good chemistry, not sure I want to rock the boat at this point.

I would keep Gaudette out of the top 9. Move him up to add offense when needed.. but he provides zero unless he scores.

I so hope they keep Matinpalo in ; He and Kleven have been solid and they have some chemistry.

Yeah I understand, was only suggesting these pairings because of (small sample) advanced stats I saw of Chabot-Matinpalo and a 90.5% xGF% lol

So if the 2 fits that well, I was thinking of boosting Kleven pairing and also give Jensen easier deployment as he's coming back from injury

Yeah that's a bit of the problem with Gaudette, he struggles from being involved in the play on a consistent basis, he's a bit like guys like Zach Sanford for example, would be full-time NHL players if they could bring their good on a more regular basis. Not sure what will happen with Gaudette in the future and what kind of contract he could get he's kinda ideal or the 4th line or as the 13th forward, use him as a short term offensive weapon replacement.
