Best versus best tonight and a great measuring stick for the Jets. Caps are a big talented team that uses it's size so the Jets better be ready. Going for a sweep on the road trip and 6 straight over all. Only negative it's on SN so it will be Ovie this Ovie that.

The fact it's not the feature game tonight tells you all you need to know about shity Sportsnet . I know Toronto has lots of fans but come on it's the top 2 teams playing against each other and they only play each other twice a regular season.

Thanks @macmaroon - really glad that you put up this great story. It brings a flood of good memories. My parents were characters - the first five years of my life were spent living in a one room shack in a campus housing project, near the University of Montana (where they were both in school). The good part is that these shacks (quite nice honestly) were on the shores of Flathead Lake, close to the so-called Biology Station... so it was a lot of swimming, chilling out and recreation as a young coelacanth. We were one of very few Canadian families living there, lots of friends made from all over the US (California, NY state, others).
As for scolding and discipline, in all honesty, my parents went easy on us (truth!).

But really, we'd get shaken out of bed 30 minutes before we went to sleep, get up, clean the lake, walk barefoot to the coal mines, pull out 4 tonnes of coal on a 20 hour shift, and if we were lucky the manager would'nt kill us with our own picks. Then, we'd walk home 7 miles, whereupon the parents would promptly cut our throats and bury us in a cairn of granite, and dance on our graves singing hallelujah.
Go Jets, lets smash the unholy Capped, drive them before us in a paroxysm of unbridled wanton offensive thrusts.
