He's got a good voice for it but he is lacking personality. Reminds me of ozzy in his early days on TV.

He's already better than Ozzy was his first couple seasons, but once Ozzy settled down and let his weird hang out he got good. I don't know that DK has that in him.

Ozzy was and still is a "gosh everything is great and the team looks great and even though they're down 8 they've had great chances"

DDK has already been dropping insights into some plays. His acknowledgement of Cat's work on that face off and how coaches preach hustle and little things can turn into big things was what prompted me to post originally. A nice little nugget.

Last thing I'll say about the announcing... I like that Bob and Danny seem to follow the main guys in being hockey fans first and Red Wings fans second. A good play is a good play no matter who does it and a bad call is a bad call no matter who it's against, etc
