The decision making on the pp is absolutely putrid.

It’s like they don’t know what to do since what worked last year is not working.
Since this is an audition of sorts for Klingberg, I’d like to see him slot in for Nuge and Bouch at times on the PP. I think he could be good in Nuge spot. Opens up another one timer option and I think he can control the puck just as well. The change could spark a refresh for the group.

Should have made some changes to the PP ages ago. Country club coaching

What an absolute horseshit shift by Kapanen. One times the puck 5 ft wide! Then casually skates back with 5 seconds left knows where his player is and still makes the ridiculous decision to wave his stick instead taking the man or tying up his stick. Just pure laziness
Yeah that was bad . He should be benched for a bit

Team looks bagged. Imagine the flu is a factor along with the line mash ups. Not a lot of chemistry happening. Need to dig in to win with a C game. Though not liking this team failing to extend leads against non playoff competition. They finish on one PP and a 2-0 game is probably over.

Games like this make you wonder how the Oilers are even in a playoff spot

And man, is Podkolzin ever a terrible passer. He's at RNH's level in his ability to underwhelm every time he tries to do something on the ice with the puck.
