Im ok with last game as long as tonight is a W. if they come out with their thumbs in their ***** again in the first period Im going to lose my mind

before yesterday's game I thought if LA could get 2 wins in these 3 games in 3.5 days I would be thrilled.
Still have hope the team can get er done.

Hopefully the team is not playing from behind the whole game so we can see Gravel used more (assuming he is even playing).

This, a very fun game, will be. Win I hope, I see many goals being scored and some fights and some goals and some fights kings will.

What were the D pairs last game? I didn't get a chance to update them. Sounds like scratches today are Clifford, Andreoff, and McBain.

Andreoff and Clifford shoudl not both be scratched. Andreoff has been doing good in the facoffs and playing physical..That is what I expect out of him.
Clifford scored last night and fought against Boston.

Don't understand what else those two need to do to stay in.
Nolan should be out for Pearson.

Pearson-Carter-Toffoli
Lucic-Kopitar-Brown
King-VL-Gaborik
Clifford-AA-Lewis

Brown and gaborik shuffle based on who is competing harder.

AA was terrible last night he should be sitting...

I don't think ahead, behind, or tied is going to impact Gravel's time. If anything, he played a couple extra minutes last night each time the Kings were losing by 3. What impacted his time was no PK or PP. The more there is of that, the less ice he sees. If the game is close tonight, I could see him playing 8 minutes tops. Also, he got to play more because they tried him with Amart. IMO

I thought Gravel played well. Schenn was horrible. 3 minuses. Watch the flow of play and lack of coverage on each goal. Also, screening goalie just standing out front. Muzz could not protect him.

7-6-1 since the trade. Not including EN goals, 42GF, and 36GA. The goalies are facing an average of 26.5 shots per game, which is less than the Kings season average, but the sv% of Quick(.902) and Enroth(.908) is a combined .903%. Outshooting the other team 464-373 in the 14 games, which is a +91 shot differential. Lecavalier still leads the team in goals since he got here with 5. Toffoli, Doughty, and Brown are tied for 2nd with 4 each.

Take out the Boston game, and the Kings have a 407-336 shot advantage, for a +71. However, 33GF, and 34GA, for a -1 goal differential. Quick is at .895%, Enroth at .908, for a combined .898sv%, while facing 25.69 shots per game.

Very much agreed. Just hope yesterday was a wakeup call after the Boston game. DOn't forget we also have a what, 9 am game on Sunday? If we win 3 of 4, I'll be stoked. 2 of 4 I'll be less than thrilled, but okay, depending on what we do the rest of the trip.

I thought Gravel was good, especially for his first game with no practice and a new partner in a losing effort. Schenn and Muzzin did not work; NEITHER guy was good. Not defending Schenn really but those two just could not read each other at all. I felt that way about Muzzin and Greene, too, Muzzin seems to need a mobile-ish guy to play with since he's pretty clompy himself.

Also, only going to say this once; no warnings tonight, straight to infractions.

Dear visitors:

2) Trolling: Do not make posts or threads with the sole intent of starting a dispute. Please note that a person disagreeing with your opinion is NOT trolling. Please keep it civil even if you're sure the other person is wrong. When visiting the team forums, please note that these are fan forums for that team and are here mainly for the enjoyment of that team's fans. Do not visit team forums to cheer against nor demean their team. In other words, if you want to cheer for the Habs and criticize the Bruins, do it on the Habs board. And if someone is doing the opposite on the Bruins board, don't start flaming them to defend the honor of your team. Either ignore it or respectfully disagree and move on. Copying posts from one HFBoard forum to another for this purpose is considered trolling/flaming as well. Wishing injury/illness on anyone (players, members, etc.) will be regarded as trolling/offensive in most cases.

Dear locals,

1) Flaming: Do not post any messages that harass, insult (name calling), belittle, threaten or mock other members. Debates are fine, but critique the opinion, not the person. Personal attacks are not permitted. Do not call other posters trolls. Do not use sweeping generalizations and plural pronouns to cloak personal attacks. For example if a poster(s) states that he thinks 'x' is a good idea, replying that "Anyone who supports 'x' is an idiot" is a personal attack. Do not start threads to call out and embarrass other members. We do not permit any forums to be used to demean/insult the fans of other teams. This is viewed as generalized flaming.

In other words, as always, post not posters.

Cheers.

I wish there was an infractions thread, where you mods would post the names of those who misbehaved. I'd like to see which mod gave out an infraction, and to whom. But hey, I'm sure it's just me. :sarcasm:

Anyone have our W/L on both sides of b2b this year? I wouldn't be surprised if we had 0 wins on the front side and were undefeated on the back half. Feels like it anyway. Then again, maybe that's just the Drain-o talking.

I saw this morning that the Kings are 7-0-1 in the second half of b2b's, curious about the first half though

so I looked it up

out of the 7 back to backs, the Kings have lost the first game 4 out of 8 times: losses from the Hawks (1), Canes (1), Sens (1) and the Yotes (1)
out of the second half games, the Kings have beat the Canes (1), Blues (1), Panthers (1), Oilers (1), Ducks (1) , Lightning (1) Sharks (1 in OT) and lost to the Sabres in OT

Reasonably said, Brad. But I think that posters unfamiliar with our board might not realize that sometimes it's not a true smack but the general goofiness around here, especially if it's a post by a certain cat gif-loving captain.
