My prediction: this game is fight filled.

I HOPE so.

If I'm McLellan, as much as the Sharks and their fans want blood, I tell my team not to give the Kings reason to get emotionally engaged. They play better that way.

I just think Brownie is going to get ragdolled and other guys (Nolan, Clifford) take stupid penalties as they try to stand up for him.

Edit: damnit, they ARE playing Stalock? Those Sharks are so saavy

I think the kings would love a fight filled game. They have a lot of aggression to vent.

Of course, this also means Brownie's gonna have to get his ass kicked by someone as well.

Yup, I hope so.

And I hope Brownie does it. I can't think of a Shark that would be a fair fight for him; he's going to get tuned either way. But last time, that lit a fire under his ass, and we need our "C" to be full of piss and vinegar ASAP.

I'm going to go, full of optimism and ****ing goal-scoring karma. The turnaround starts today.

I hate the Sharks.

Since the Kings don't seem to be a self-motivated bunch, perhaps a division rival that they beat in the playoffs last year, and who doesn't play tomorrow night, starting their #2 goalie because the Kings can't score, might do a little something. Maybe.

This GDT is awesome some good laughs! Thanks everyone for making this upcoming lost easier to take.

He's probably getting the start because he currently has back to back shutouts going and hasn't allowed a goal in 140:49 minutes... since early in the third period @ chicago on January 5th.

I doubt it's because they're underestimating the Kings.

Oh, well, that's even better! The Kings should help him carry that streak an additional 60 minutes. Maybe even 65 minutes if Jonathan Quick breakdances in the crease all night.

What is the Kings goal-less streak at right now?

EDIT: I did the math by myself and it looks like the Kings haven't scored a goal in 116:47.

Jesus, the canucks could take the 3 spot tonight if they beat the crappy Oilers.

Or, they're currently estimating the Kings.

Whatever it is, the Kings need to use it. No matter the Sharks actual intentions, assume disrespect. Paint a mental picture of the Sharks team in a meeting and saying that they don't really even need to play defense tonight. Anything that can get the Kings going to the net pissed off.

Let's exorcise our "Shark tank" demons tonight. Quick will have a monster game with 35~ save shutout. Kopitar with 2 goals, 4-0 Kings. GKG!

For the first time this season we'll make a coach regret starting their backup against us.
