Need to stay out of the penalty box - Ovi is deadly on the PP and our PK looked like crap last game. Hope Bob cleared his head and gives us a nice performance.

Anisimov moves up to play with Foligno and Umberger. Johansen will play with Horton and Jenner. #CBJAMSkate

Very big game for Bobrovsky. He was strong vs the Caps last go around, he needs to make a statement tonight.

Looks like a good mid-week crowd. Only 14 seats available in 102. In Lower 101, looks like about 12 tickets that are paired or in 3's and then just a scattering of singles. Might see 16,500+ tonite.

yeah...its really candid...which i like...they called out the young kids and said they have to be better..we're starting to get to the point where there are expectations and not excuses with this team...

Coming from Indiana to watch this game. Is there any where fun I should go for some pre game drinks? I'm a Caps fan but I do enjoy watching the Jackets play also...

R-Bar's great for drinks and pre-gaming. If you plan to eat, I'd try one of the other establishments in the Arena District.

R-Bar is a great hockey bar and a lot of fun. You could also try Gordon Biersch which is a microbrewery, Boston's, which is a sports bar/pizza place or Three Legged Mare (pub). All are close to the Arena.

Thanks guys.. Hope it's a good game. As long as Caps don't **** the bed like the last game it should be a fun one....

Need advice. Can I get a good deal on some lower bowl tickets ($50 for pair) if I wait till puck drop? If not, what can I expect. Want to go to the game tonight. Talking scalping here....

Please quit letting the winning streak unravel. Get this buggy back on course! (or train since we seem to like using that mode of transport as our go-to metaphor!)

$25 lower bowl sounds pretty aggressive to me based on how tickets sales seem to be pretty strong for tonight's game...maybe right at 7:00pm you can get them for that, but there are $41-45 lower bowls on Stubhub.

Sure. I've found those Scalpers are pretty stingy when they shouldn't be. I have two front row upper bowl seats. I don't think they've ever offered more than $5/ticket if I tried to sell them.

Additionally, the row behind us is often empty, so sometimes we'll take one or both of our daughters to the game and just buy cheapies to get in the door knowing there are seats near us open. I usually try to help the scalpers out first. I'll flat out tell the scalper "Just need one/two to get in the door for $10 each. Don't care where the seat is." They'll reply, "Ain't nobody got a $10 seat." I'll tell them "the Box office does". Had one guy reply "They don't have any of those left", when it was a Tuesday night in Early December.

Anyway, if you don't get a lower bowl seat in your price range, worse case scenario is you should be able to get a $10 Huntington seat at the ticket office.

As a lower bowler, I must say we need to maintain the price point to keep the rif raf out !!!!! (insert smiley).

That kind of uppity attitude is what holds the NA atmosphere down :sarcasm:

It's funny though, when I am in the lower bowl, I'd rather be at least 15 rows up from Row A due to the reflection from the glass panels. It can be hard to see clearly there. But the tradeoff is worth sitting lower bowl vs upper bowl due to the energy alone imo.

I guess I've always wondered is what then do the scalpers do if they can't sell them for their desired price. Would they rather eat the entire ticket than get 10 bucks from someone last minute?

As others have stated, check out StubHub - looks like lower bowl tickets are available for $33 per ticket tonight. That price may go down a little more as we get closer to game time, though I'm not sure. Speaking of tickets, best deal around is the Student Rush tickets - $15 for upper bowl and $25 for lower bowl - would have loved that kind of a deal a couple decades ago when I was in college.
