They played 3 games against the Panthers. They got dominated in 2 of them and then lost a relatively close third contest.

They shouldnt have even won the one they did given how badly they got outplayed that afternoon.

Not throwing in the towel just yet. No interest in trading a future hall of famer for someone who might crack the Providence lineup, or might not - and if they do, might be stuck there forever because we didn’t draft well or they just didn’t pan out. The Providence roster is loaded with them and the guy we called up is undersized/understrong and hears footsteps. IIRC, the Kings were DFL in the league in 11-12, squeaked in as the eighth seed, and won the whole thing. It’s Feb 1. I would like to see if they can make a push.
